Tamara Gayer’s site-specific installation was inspired by its location in the busy garment district near Pennslyvania Station. After exploring the neighborhood landscape and history, Gayer created this design reflecting the architecture of the street, adjacent buildings and the scaffolding framing the windows. With adhesive vinyl, she uses vibrant colors, line and perspective to draw the attention and the eye of the passer-by towards the building’s window. With vibrantly colored adhesive vinyl, she uses line and perspective to draw the viewer’s attention.
