SmartSpaces is a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Fiscal sponsorship is a financial and legal system by which a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity provides limited financial and legal oversight for a project initiated by an artist or arts organization.

Contributions on behalf of SmartSpaces are made payable to Fractured Atlas, designated for "SmartSpaces," and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
